Waffle-era Tea Room alias La Waflera's is The Original Gourmet Waffle Restaurant and Tea Room "brunch" concept restaurant; Puerto Rico's first and best waffle brunch restaurant opened to the public in 2011 and in 2021 it celebrated it's 10th Anniversary at it's fourth location in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico, currently at Condo. Capitolio Plaza Calle Marina, Calle del Muelle #100 on the Old San Juan Bahia Urbana waterfront area. The locally loved establishment dubbed LaWaflera.PR is a favorite among locals and visitors for it's one of a kind menu and experience which has inspired many.
Waffle-era Tea Room alias La Waflera's original restaurant concept combined items not available in the market at that time (2010) uniting items unrelated to each juxtaposing them in an elegant yet laid back environment. The menu focuses since inception on high quality food combinations over deep dish fresh baked waffles utilizing an original recipe and in contrast to the waffle's conventionalities at The Waffle-era waffles are focused on savory with sit down flare more with waffle creations explorative in the savory realm served in a tea room environment with gourmet and fresh high quality materials and service for one of a kind waffle, breakfast, brunch, lunch experience. Enjoy mixed drinks including original and classic cocktails, brunch favorites like the mimosa and others, syphon brewed coffee and a large selection of loose leaf tea and herbal teas fresh steeped to drink hot, cold or spiked.
